Penguin Books “Idiot’s Guides” allow an intelligent newbie to learn a complex subject
In April I got an e-mail asking if I’d be interested in writing a book about aquaponics. Of course!
When I talked to the agent, she was searching for an author on behalf of Penguin Books. We love books, so I’m familiar with Penguin, consistently one of the top three publishers of English-speaking books in the world.
Oh my goodness!
In the mean time, I’m working furiously on the book. Members of the aquaponics forums have graciously given me access to their pictures and advice and many have provided pictures. My back yard is lovely, but it’s always fun to go on a virtual world tour…
I submit the final draft mid August, and the book is scheduled to come out in 2013.
I would like a copy of the CompleteIidiots Guide to Aquaponixs.
LOL – so would I. I’m still writing the last few chapters, after which it will go to the editors for all the magic they do. I understand it is scheduled to arrive in bookstores on 2 April 2013.
