I been told somewhere aquaponic farm Aquaculture for you tube that one could set fresh water fish into mildly saline water for the last 1 week of the lifestyle, and it means they personal taste considerably better.
Yes – I’ve heard that putting your fish in a separate tank without adding feed for the week before harvest helps reduce any gamey taste, and when you add salt (a little each day, to avoid undue stress on the fish), the fish flesh will be more firm, like fish from the ocean.
